The Curse of monkey Island

This game is great. There is almost no other way to put it, it has jokes that will make you laugh out loud, a story that will enthrall you and a main character with a stupid name (Guybrush Threepwood?). The adventure content then, this is at a maximum and will make you think for hours on end. The characters will make you laugh, from Murry the Talking Skull to the Vegitarian Cannibals and even Max the Rabbit who allegidly appears in every Lucas Arts adventure game makes a cameo appearence. The two difficulty settings (Monkey and Mega Monkey) should be played from Monkey difficulty first then, Mega Monkey difficulty to make the game seem longer. this is a game that needs no fancy pants graphics accelerator to get it's point across, only the wonderful dialogue, acting and madcap world is needed, but in saying that, the wold in which Guybrush lives has been created using what looks like the pen and pencils of Disney. This game will suck up your time (In the good way.).Oh, and it has a fantastic theme tune that changes ever so slightly as you go through the games six chapters. The cutscenes that have been created are fantastic and the interface is fantastic. The only major problem about the game is its slightly shortened ending. If you are new to adventure games you should buy this game. But if you are an adventure game veteran, buy it.

95% - Greatness is in all the Monkey Island, but most of all in this one.
